Dr. Jyotiranjan Gudia Takes a Leading Role in Ganesh Puja Celebrations at Government Degree College, Chitrakonda

On 14 September 2026, a devotional and colourful atmosphere filled the campus of Government Degree College, Chitrakonda, Malkangiri, as the college celebrated Ganesh Puja with great enthusiasm and devotion.

On behalf of the Principal, Dr. Chinmay Kumar Behera, Dr. Jyotiranjan Gudia took a leading role in coordinating and carrying out the worship activities during the Ganesh Puja celebration. With the active participation of the students, the celebration became a memorable occasion for the college community. Dr. Gudia, along with the students of +3 First Year and Third Year, took an active part in preparing and decorating the Puja venue. The beautifully decorated stage, colourful balloons, traditional designs, flowers and other decorative elements created a vibrant and spiritual atmosphere around the idol of Lord Ganesha. During the Puja, Dr. Gudia participated in the worship and offered prayers to Lord Ganesha for the peace, prosperity, success and well-being of the college, its teachers, staff and students. His active involvement reflected not only his devotion but also his commitment to encouraging students to participate in cultural and traditional activities.

The celebration also provided an opportunity for students to work together beyond the classroom. From decoration to organising the Puja activities, their collective participation reflected teamwork, creativity, discipline and a sense of belonging to their institution. The presence and guidance of Dr. Jyotiranjan Gudia added a special dimension to the celebration. As a faculty member of Political Science at Government Degree College, Chitrakonda, his participation demonstrated the importance of balancing academic responsibilities with cultural engagement and student activities. The Ganesh Puja celebration at Government Degree College, Chitrakonda, therefore became more than a religious observance. It was a beautiful occasion that brought teachers and students together in an atmosphere of devotion, cooperation and celebration.
