        Jyotiranjan Gudia is a Ph.D. scholar at Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) Deemed to be University, Bhubaneswar, Odisha. His research focuses on the traditional political system of the Didayi tribe in Odisha, specifically in the Malkangiri district. He has authored a paper titled "Exploring the Rich Tapestry of Art and Culture: The Traditional Arts and Crafts of the Didayi Tribe in Malkangiri District, Odisha", with the Paper ID ShodhKosh_1916.
        He is also deeply involved in studying the socio-demographic and socio-cultural aspects of the Didayi tribe as part of his dissertation, which examines both continuity and changes in their traditional governance systems. Jyotiranjan is currently researching in 12 study villages in Malkangiri and has posed several research questions to understand the impacts of modern influences, external interventions, and generational shifts on the Didayi tribe.
